C.A.S.T. Hooks a new Spokesperson

C.A.S.T. for kids is proud to announce that FLW Tour Angler Clay Dyer
has agreed to become its national spokesperson.  Clay who was born without legs, a left arm, or the lower portion of his right arm has
never-the-less risen through the fishing ranks to reach the pinnacle of his
profession.

Clay perfectly exemplifies the purpose and potential of C.A.S.T. for
Kids of providing disabled and disadvantaged children the opportunity to
enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience as well as increasing the
awareness of all participants to the capabilities of children with disabilities. Clay was introduced to fishing through a program similar to those conducted by C.A.S.T. for Kids when he was a child.  From that early introduction to fishing, Clay through hard work and determination has achieved his dream.

More importantly, Clay regularly shares his inspirational story with
others to assist them in overcoming the obstacles in their lives.  Clay not
only shares his time, he also shares his resources.  Clay contributes a
portion of his proceeds from his primary sponsorship with BassFan to C.A.S.T.  for Kids to further its mission of increasing awareness of disabled and disadvantaged children in our communities and teaching appreciation for natural resources.

C.A.S.T. for Kids, organized in 1991, conducts 44 events annually in 22
states and in Mexico.  To learn more about CAST for kids, please visit
